Dr. Jitendra Mehta is Head and Scientist (Biotechnology) at Vital Biotech Research & Training Institute, Kota, Rajasthan, India for almost 16 year and serves research experience as research supervisor at Career Point University, Kota, Rajasthan, India. He has major experience in plant and animal cell culture and in vitro fertilization, micropropagation, Sperm preparation, Oocyte retrieval, grading of oocytes and insemination, Oocyte isolation, selection, aspiration and in vitro maturation, Vitrification of Oocytes & Embryos, Animal cell culture and molecular techniques using the human/cancer cell lines.

He has completed his Doctorate in Biotechnology in 2015 from Career Point University, India accredited by UGC. Before pursuing Ph.D., he completed his Master Degree in Biotechnology in 2006 at Garden City College of Science Accredited by Bangalore University India. He subsequently gained his Embryology Training and experience from International School of Embryology, Chennai Fertility Center and Research Institute, Chennai, India and Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and Clinical Embryology MOMSOON Fertility and IVF Centre, Bengaluru, India. He continued his work in Embryology in the field of IVF. He has participated in many national and international conferences. He is on editorial board of 3 journals. He has served as a reviewer for many scientific journals. He is the author and co-author of more than 35 peer-reviewed journal articles and 6 newspaper articles with 260 plus Google Scholar citations and 10 h- index. He has worked as research officer at K.S. Agro Chemicals, Bengaluru during 2006 to 2008. Currently he is Director of Vital Biotech Research & Training Institute, Kota, Rajasthan, India.
